Great Ride + Great Food - Come Share the Camaraderie

36th Annual KNOTTS ISLAND CENTURY

NOTE: registration has closed out for this event.

The Tidewater Bicycle Association proudly presents its signature event, the 36th Annual Knotts Island Century ride. One of the ride’s highlights is that the English and Metric Century both cross the Currituck Sound on the North Carolina State Ferry, from opposite sides.

This yea'rs registration includes an event logo’d pair of socks, SAG support, tasty food/rest stops, sports drinks, cue sheets, and well-marked routes. Again this year the TBA C.L.A.M.S. sponsored cookie stop is back! Also included is a post ride meal for each rider and volunteer.

· Great opportunity for a ride with family and friends

· Great Training Ride for Upcoming Special Events such as the MS150, Tour de Cure, and breakaway rides

· Ride with a Group, even if you are alone!

Online registration (only) is open from now until May 9, 2012. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee your choice of sock size after April 5, 2012. Also, ferry capacity is limited to 100 cyclists per ferry - so register on-line early!

Three Distances to Choose From

The English & Metric riders will pass each other at the Knotts Island Ferry landing. Both English and Metric Centuries will bike through the Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge on NC route 615 – a beautiful stretch of road with wildlife and scenery on both sides of the road – remember to enjoy the view!
